LINDOS BY BOAT (DISCOVERY)

Visit the stunningly beautiful village of Lindos. Stop at magnificent beaches along the east coast and go for a swim. Enjoy 3 hours of free time to explore the ancient Acropolis of Lindos on your own.

OVERVIEW

Enjoy slow boat trip, sunbathing and a lot of swimming while having an opportunity to visit one of the most picturesque villages on the island – Lindos!

During your 3 hour stay in Lindos, you can explore the village strolling through the small streets dotted with wonderful souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. Climbing to the Acropolis, can either be done on foot, or by hiring the traditional “Lindos taxi”, the donkeys! You can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal waters in the bay of Lindos.
On the return trip, a small swimming (diving off the boat) stop will be made at “Tsambika beach”, stop for swimming will be at the emerald green waters of Antony Quinn beach, where the film “The Guns of Navarone” was filmed. Finally the boat will return to Mandraki harbour.

A day trip to Lindos definitely value for money in a modern boat. Crew so friendly and helpful. On board reasonably priced food, snacks and drinks. Various places to sit including air conditioned lounge. 3 hours in Lindos was enough time to visit the Acropolis and sit and have a cool drink in the plentiful taverns. A stop of twice to snorkel or swim and cool off at the Blue Lagoon and Anthony Quinn Bay was just what was needed to cool off. Many boats go to Lindos but The Discovery was great and would definitely recommend.

An incredible day out to Lindos on this fun cruise where we met lots of interesting people onboard to chat with which was nice.
Our trip started off with Anthony quinn bay which was spectacular and superb waters to swim in and snorkel.
Then we stopped in Lindos which is one to see.
Lindos is incredible and a spectacular spot to explore the Beach and the walk up to the village and to the main superb acropolis which is a must see.
Lots of history was in this spot and restaurants to have a lovely meal and take in the views and tranquility of the bay.
Money well spent and really an amazing day out which was memorable.
Till next time and well worth it.
